Skiing & Snowboarding

"Skiing at its Best" - skiing at the best level, this is what winter sports enthusiasts are offered in Kirchberg and thus at Trendguide Suites. The Brixental community has entrances to two renowned ski resorts. The Kitzbühel ski area of KitzSki stretches from Kirchberg to Mittersill, and the Kitzbüheler Horn, where Franz Reisch conjured the first ski tracks in the snow in 1893, is also part of KitzSki. The Kitzbühel cable car company has received several awards as the world's best ski resort. With comfort on the lifts (leather seats with seat heating) and perfectly groomed slopes, the slopes between Hahnenkamm and Pengelstein are among the absolute favorite ski areas for many. Speaking of the Hahnenkamm: an absolute must during your winter vacation is a visit to the world-famous Streif, where the Hahnenkamm races take place every year. Thanks to the parallel Streif, you can view the difficult sections of the downhill course without having to ski them yourself.

For freeskiers and snowboarders, KitzSki has its own parks at the Kitzbüheler Horn and Resterhöhe, so they can practice their tricks. Winter sports enthusiasts have 57 lifts and 188 kilometers of slopes to choose from.

KiWest provides access to one of the largest ski areas, SkiWelt. Skiers and snowboarders can choose from 90 lifts and 288 kilometers of slopes in this ski area.
