Hiking

With the wonderful views of the surrounding nature, the desire to actively experience the mountains increases. Hiking in the green grassy mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps is a wonderful nature experience. At the same time, the summer lifts of KitzSki largely facilitate the ascent to your chosen destination. With the Gaisberg lift, for example, you can conquer the first 435 meters of altitude effortlessly. Then it's on foot - up to the Bärstättalm, which is wonderfully suited for a first stop, and on over the Gaisbergjoch to the summit cross. After that, it's time for a hike just for pleasure. Over the mountain ridge you go to the Wiegalm, which is famous for its roast pork and Kaiserschmarrn. Here you can decide whether you want to go down to Brixen, continue hiking to Westendorf to the Kreuzjöchlsee or choose the hiking trail back to Kirchberg.

One of the most beautiful hikes in the Kitzbühel Alps leads over the Spießnägel. The starting point is the small village of Aschau, which can be reached by bus. Via the "Jagasteig" you reach the Hirzeggalm. From here you walk through an untouched natural landscape to the Spießnägel at 1,880 meters. From the summit cross you have a gigantic view high to the Großer and Kleiner Rettenstein, to the Rauher Kopf and behind it rises the mighty Wilder Kaiser. The circular trail leads hikers through the blooming nature with small mountain lakes back to the Hirzeggalm.

Experience the mountains by bike

The Kitzbühel Alps are a paradise for mountain and e-bikers. Numerous tours through the lush greenery with many dreamy backdrops are available to choose from. Mountain bikers can choose from routes totaling 812 kilometers with a total of almost 32,300 meters of elevation gain. There is something for every cyclist - from asphalt circuits in the valley to trails for extreme bikers. The single trails of Gaisberg or at the Fleckalm are among the highlights.

Fun and action with a real racing feeling can be found at the E-Cross. State-of-the-art, environmentally friendly and almost silent e-cross motorcycles provide action and fun on the motocross course at the harness racing track.

Center for golf

The Kitzbühel Alps are also a center for golf. In addition to the 18-hole courses in Westendorf, Kitzbühel and Ellmau, there are also 9-hole courses in Kitzbühel and Erpfendorf.

Swimming and bathing

The bathing and recreational facility is only a 10-minute walk from the chalet. Embedded in a charming landscape, surrounded by woods and meadows, the spacious bathing facility, with its shady trees, offers pure relaxation. An attractive infrastructure makes bathing an experience for young and old: 25 m wide wave slide, 50 m water slide, 3 m + 1 m diving tower, 2 stand-up paddles, heated outdoor pool, non-swimmer area, large children's area, beach volleyball court, table-tennis tables, rowing boats, lakeside launches, free parking.

Not to forget, the alpine lake has drinking water quality, one of our strengths in Tyrol.

Archery - all in the kill

For archers and all those who want to become one, there are no less than 3 3D courses as well as an archery hall with rental of bows and arrows in Kirchberg. There are other courses in the nearby area - in Oberndorf, Jochberg, Westendorf, St. Johann, Waidring and Kössen.

Musical variety

Summer in the Kitzbühel Alps also has a lot to offer musically. Rustic and traditional sounds are offered at the meeting of brass bands and singing societies.  Top entertainment can be found at the "Burning Lederhose" festival. Stars on stage can also be seen at the Schlagernacht or Andreas Gabalier concert. For fans of classical music there is Elīna Garanča and Friends at "Klassik in den Alpen".

Variety of events

There is always something going on in the Kitzbühel Alps: Works of art made of flowers at the Flower Parade, gleaming chrome and classic cars at the Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye, living tradition at the Brixentaler Antlassritt, top sports at the KitzAlpBike mountain bike marathon, Tyrolean coziness at the Almfesten
